INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR MUNICIPAL ENGINEER Are you an experienced Intermediate/Senior Municipal Engineer looking to progress your career? Youre an ideal candidate if you have: - Currently registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers Geoscientists New Brunswick (APEGNB) - Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited university - Welldeveloped interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - Valid drivers license and have access to a personal vehicle for work related travel A typical day on the job might look like: - Leading and managing civil engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and within scope - Municipal and transportation infrastructure - Commercial and residential subdivision land development - Site grading and mass detailed site earthworks for underground services - Preparation of stamped engineering drawings, quality assurance/control specifications and quantity estimates issued for tender and construction project administration. - Storm water modelling and management civil design. - Organizing/carrying out construction quantity surveying / field inspections. - Developing and maintaining strong client relationships - Preparing proposals and supporting business development initiatives - Participating in the implementation and adaptation of existing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all project work. - Acting in support of other GEMTEC offices when needed to complete projects. - Performing other related duties as required. - Adhering to all company policies. - Other duties as required.
