This is a part-time position working only on Saturday's from 7:45 am - 3:45 pm.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide excellent customer service to the residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes that visit the depot* Have good communication skills to deal with City of Kawartha Lakes employees, and the public* Have read and understand all training documents on-site* Receive household hazardous waste from residents* Identify, sort, and pack household hazardous waste into the appropriate containers* Maintain clean grounds and facility* Wear all of the required PPE at all times* Work in a safe manner at all times* Maintain and report any equipment that needs repair* Comply with all rules and regulations to do with operating the depot**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:*** Ability to perform moderately labour intensive and repetitious tasks* Physically fit with the ability to lift +50lbs and stand on cement for extended periods of time* Excellent communication skills* Planning and organizational skills* Ability to analyze and solve problems* Able to work independently and in a team environment#GFLTalent*We thank you for your interest.
