Overview Eatons ES AMER division is currently seeking a Product Specialist. This position can be based out of our Airdrie, AB or Edmonton, AB Eaton location and offers benefits from day one. The expected annual salary range for this role is $82,000 to $102,000 per year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What Youll Do Who we are: The Eaton Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) Marketing Team is dedicated to delivering safe, reliable, and innovative electrical solutions for the industrial and commercial markets across Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive customer support for orders in our factory and for products in the field. This includes technical and commercial support to our internal teams as well as our customers. Factory support involves maintenance of line aspects including technical drawings, line support and designs for manufacturability through our CNC/ automated fabrication processes. As a key interface to the markets we serve, the PDCA Product Specialists will facilitate customer training at our home locations in Alberta or remotely at customer sites in various geographies. Direct customer interface includes participation and representation in industry tradeshows. Our Product Specialists contribute to Marketing literature, product manuals and product launch materials. They also support Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) programs and provide commercial and pricing support to our sales teams, industry customers and distributors across Canada. As a team member, all functions are performed with adherence to Eatons philosophy and values as well as safety and environmental standards. Qualifications Basic (Required) Qualifications: Technical Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum 3 years experience in the electrical industry. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Technical Professional Designation (P.Eng., CET, C.Tech.). 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or engineering. Technical product experience with motor control, LV and MV motor control centers, switchgear and custom control panels. Experience with AutoCAD/Solidworks modeling and the ability to develop 2D drawings. Good command of the French language (verbal and written skills).
