The RCA is now seeking to appoint a Director of Consultancy and Commercial Services. This newly created role will lead the development and expansion of the Colleges consultancy, executive education and other commercial activities, supporting the RCAs ambition to diversify income and extend the global impact of its expertise in creative education, design and innovation. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), the Director will set the strategic direction for the RCAs Consultancy & Commercial Services Unit and build a sustainable pipeline of opportunities in the UK and internationally. The role will involve working closely with academic and professional services colleagues across the College to identify and develop consultancy and executive education opportunities, ensuring projects are effectively managed and deliver strong financial and reputational returns. The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of developing and growing consultancy or commercial services. They will bring strategic insight, entrepreneurial drive and excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior academics, industry partners and international clients. Experience of the higher education, research or innovation environment, alongside strong financial and commercial acumen, will be important.
