Position Summary We are looking for a Key Account Manager for a 12-month contract based at our Mississauga office reporting into the Director, National Accounts. This role will be working on the Walmart account. This position is an existing vacancy. A day in the life of a Key Account Manager This role is a great opportunity to grow and develop your sales experience. You will be involved in strategic planning in line with the growth and success of Nestl, as well as promotional activities, monitoring sales targets and forecasts. You will also: Develop and achieve the sales business plan for the business by implementing the strategy, managing total trade spend by category, and achieving agreed shelf, distribution, and promotional targets. Analyse, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Nestle Purinas goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets. Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer. Proactively monitor and update the customer''''s overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan. Drive pre and post promotion evaluation to increase ROI/ROS. Be accountable for the strategic account plan, based on internal objectives, marketing, business development, and shopper marketing plans, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities. What will make you successful? 3+ years as a sales leader within a Tier 1 CPG company Experience business and delivering results with major retailers (preference for Walmart experience) Proven track record of successful P&L and trade spend management Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers. Ability to work with large and complex data sets to tell powerful stories and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel; Competency in Nielsen and Retail Link is an asset.
