Overview Kal Tire is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician/Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician at our Calgary NE, AB store. Were looking for a motivated individual with strong problemsolving skills and a passion for handson work involving tires, brakes, and alignments. Youll enter a leadingedge training program, gain experience with the latest tools and technology, deliver exceptional service to customers, and build a future in the automotive industry. Responsibilities Perform frontend brake services, shock replacements, and wheel alignments. Remove, install, repair, and balance tires on passenger and light truck vehicles safely. Diagnose tire issues and perform appropriate repairs. Operate and maintain alignment and flush machines, and perform oil, lube, and filter services. Assist with mechanical inspections and provide exceptional customer service. Qualifications Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent experience. A valid drivers license. Strong mechanical aptitude, effective problemsolving skills, and a willingness to learn in the automotive industry. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical capability to work in a demanding environment, including heavy lifting and frequent movement. A safetyfocused mindset with a positive, respectful, and teamoriented attitude. Compensation and Benefits This position pays $22.32 per hour. A clear path for career advancement and wage increases along the way. Extended group health, dental, and vision benefits are available to eligible fulltime and parttime permanent employees. Participate in an RRSP program with matching Profit Sharing (DPSP).
