As the program enters its Critical Design Review (CDR) phase, the team needs additional support to manage increased workload and ensure timely delivery. You will contribute to the design, modeling, and documentation of cable harnesses for spacegrade avionics systems. Responsibilities As a Cable Harness Designer, you will: Prepare drawings and BOM for avionics chassis, CCAs, PCBs, and cable harness designs for space and terrestrial applications. Prepare Cable Assembly drawings using NX or AutoCAD following MDA standards. Understand and interpret customer requirements. Propose design solutions that align with technical constraints. Design cable mechanisms for rotary interfaces. Perform cable routing and 3D modelling. Integrate inputs from electrical engineering, materials, thermal, and structural disciplines into 3D models. Perform design tasks considering EMI/EMC, thermal, structural, mass, and volume constraints. Develop production, assembly, and parts list drawings. Develop internal manuals, processes, and templates. Contribute to building and enriching the internal CAD library. Candidate Requirements Musthaves 5+ years of Cable Harness Design experience Schematics Assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings Ability to perform cable routing and 3D modelling Nice to Have Experience with AutoCAD Electrical Soft Skills Strong communication skills (multidisciplinary team environment) Strong technical writing abilities (documentationheavy role) Why Join Us?
