Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies for defence and government markets. Identify new opportunities in military, Law enforcement and security sectors Lead multi-year growth plans aligned with defence procurement cycles. Manage large, complex sales pipelines and forecasting. Build and maintain relationships with defence ministries, military branches, and government and law enforcement procurement agencies. Represent the company at defence exhibitions, industry forums, and government meetings. Lead responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFIs, and tender opportunities. Coordinate with engineering, program management, and legal teams on proposals. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and long-term agreements. Identify strategic partnerships with defence contractors and system integrators. Track upcoming defence programs and modernization initiatives. Expand into new international markets where defence exports are permitted. Ensure compliance with defence procurement regulations and export controls such as: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Maintain adherence to government contracting rules and ethical standards. Accountabilities Obtain and maintain Enhanced Security Clearance through the Government of Canada. Protect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred). Proven success at establishing strong relationships across stakeholder networks 1015+ years of experience in defence, aerospace, or government sales. Strong understanding of defence procurement processes. Experience working with organizations such as the Department of Defense, NATO, or national defence ministries. Ability to obtain or maintain security clearance.
