Responsibilities Stand a watch as the Navigating Officer of the vessel. Demonstrate considerable knowledge of applicable navigating equipment and techniques; corporate policies and procedures applicable to the position; international, federal and provincial regulations applicable to the position; safety and emergency procedures; and ship handling principles, stability, seamanship and deck maintenance. Adapt to varying duties based on business requirements; maintain a strong safety mindset. Qualifications Hold a valid Chief Mate, Near Coastal Certificate or higher.
