Project Coordinator Project Coordinator AutoCAD / Civil 3D Draftsman We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator with AutoCAD / Civil 3D Draftsman experience to support a large-scale heavy civil construction project. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced site environment and enjoys collaborating closely with construction teams to translate field needs into accurate, highquality drawings. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain shop drawings, site utilization plans, grading plans, and other project-specific drafting deliverables. Produce detailed earthwork and quantity takeoffs using Civil 3D and related tools. Update drawings to reflect design changes, field conditions, and construction sequencing. Coordinate closely with surveyors to incorporate survey data, layout information, and field measurements into project drawings. Maintain accurate as-built site records, including integration of survey updates, redline markups, and field revisions. Support the construction management team with temporary works drawings, logistics planning, and field-driven design adjustments. Collaborate regularly with project managers, site engineers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure drawings align with construction needs. Maintain organized drawing files, version control, and documentation in accordance with project standards. Assist in preparing final as-built drawings and turnover documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D is required. 25 years of drafting experience in heavy civil, infrastructure, or related construction fields. Strong understanding of grading, earthworks, utilities, and general civil construction principles. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data. Ability to read construction schedules created in Project and P6 to understand overlapping and dependent activities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a site-based project office. Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with field personnel. Preferred Experience Civil construction projects involving utilities installation, grading, site development, and traffic control layouts. Experience working on projects with deep excavation support-of-excavation (SOE) drawings utilizing secant or diaphragm wall construction techniques Familiarity with construction sequencing, temporary works, and field-driven design adjustments. Experience working with survey teams and managing as-built documentation. WHAT WE OFFER Expected Base Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations. Annual performance-based bonus.
