Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Experience in leading the organization and supervision of technical aspects of process improvements, technology, research and development . Demonstrated knowledge of OSB/EWP (Engineered Wood Products) manufacturing processes . Strong analytical and problemsolving skills . Commitment to safety. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Strong statistical knowledge and computer literacy. Serve as an active member of both the site Leadership Team and the Tolko Product Quality & Technical Group . Provide feedback and support to our Process Specialists/Engineers. Assist in the development and improvement of products and processes . Works with the Product Quality & Technical Group on the deployment, ongoing execution, and continuous improvement of the Tolko Quality Management System (TQM 9000) at site. Lead and resolve quality issues within areas of responsibility, ensuring alignment with production goals and safety standards. Investigate site related customer claims & complaints and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Promote a culture of continuous improvement. Stay on top of new industry developments and standards in technology and customer satisfaction in order to recommend, plan, and organize actions that will keep the mill current. Interact with our Sales and Production teams and keep the product cost model current. Use your knowledge of code requirements, thirdparty testing agencies and experience in statistical process control to plan, organize and implement resin or mill trials . So, whats in it for you?
