Will be required to load and unload trucks. Will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, and any other equipment that fits their license on site if necessary. Emergency Response Operator responsibilities Respond to incidents such as environmental and industrial spills, clandestine laboratory decommissioning, highway incidents involving tractor trailers, accidents, and chemical leaks. Respond to train derailments involving hazardous chemicals, fires, and site safety planning. Engage in marine operations related to fuel spills with boom deployment and boat operations. Respond to weather events (wind, ice storms, forest fires, flooding) and provide chemical assessments and advisory services. Work alongside police, fire, EMS, Environment Canada, and other stakeholders. Work with heavy equipment, vacuum trucks, and water blasters. Participate in job-specific and health & safety training as required. Operate position in an efficient and safe manner and complete related documentation and reporting. Valid Commercial Driver''s License Overtime as required. Weekend work may be required, on call schedule in effect on weekly basis.
