Overview Title: Toronto Pearson Airport - Full Time (Temp) Ground Transportation Officer Description: Overview Job Skills / Requirements Position Details Position: Full Time (temp) Ground Transportation Officer Site: GTAA - Toronto Pearson International Airport City: Mississauga, ON Shift Time: Rotating Continental (0730 - 1930 / 1930 - 0730) Pay Rate: $19.30 - $19.88 / an hour Internal Posting Date: March 13th, 2026 Internal Closing Date: March 20th, 2026 External Closing Date: March 20th, 2026 Job Description Working on assigned shifts, the Ground Transportation Guard Taxi and Limo will oversee and manage the safe and orderly pick-up of customers using the Toronto Pearson Taxi and or Limousine services. The safety and security of all Airport occupants is paramount to Paladin Security''s success. Responsibilities Be alert and observant while outside, standing or walking for extended periods in all weather conditions. Manage the flow of passengers into authorized vehicles through the inner curb-side location. Assist, communicate and update passengers with commercial vehicle status and/or inquiries when applicable. Assist and coordinate passenger queuing. Deliver consistent, predictable and courteous service to both passengers and drivers. Identify and report commercial vehicle activity that contravenes GTAA Rules and Regulations and Conditions of Permits for taxicabs and limousines. Maintain proper thresholds (number of vehicles required) for each terminal curb. Dispatch vehicles to Arrivals curb as necessary to ensure equal wait times. Make arrangements for special vehicle requests (e.g. Wheelchair Accessible). Accurately monitor wait times of guests during peak times and provide a daily Peak Period Passenger Count and wait times. Assist with implementation of inclement weather line up, doubling passengers when required. Ensure work area is clear of obstacles (e.g. baggage carts). Maintain communications at all times with fellow Security Guards, Cliental and Paladin Managerial Staff. Respond immediately to any emergency and coordinate response accordingly based on established procedures. Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the GTAA. Be observant and record all discrepancies, deficiencies and safety hazards/ concerns noted during patrols and take corrective action. Be courteous, and helpful in enforcing all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Maintain the highest standard of security at all times, being professional in attitude, appearance and application. Perform security duties in accordance with established procedures and within the limitations of any federal, provincial and municipal laws. Prerequisites Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) English (oral and written) fluency is a must Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred. Pervious Customer Service Experience required Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin''s UoF/MOAB Certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB Certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability Authorized to legally work in Canada Why Choose Paladin?
