Now and for generations to come.QuadReal: Excellence lives here.**Role Description:**The Development Asset Management team oversees the investment performance, capital deployment, and portfolio management of a large national real estate development pipeline spanning residential, industrial, mixed-use, and alternative asset classes.We are building a data-driven, AI-enabled approach to development investment management integrating advanced analytics and artificial intelligence into underwriting, business planning, investment committee analysis, and portfolio monitoring.As an Analyst, you will support the financial and strategic oversight of development projects from planning through stabilization. Youll work alongside senior team members to build and refine analytical tools, contribute to investment decision-making processes, and help develop AI-enabled workflows that improve how we manage our development portfolio.This is a hands-on learning role at the intersection of real estate development, investment management, and applied analytics within a large institutional platform.**Responsibilities:**Development Investment Analysis* Help build and maintain development underwriting models across multiple asset classes, with guidance from senior team members.* Support feasibility analysis, sensitivity testing, and capital structure evaluations for development projects.* Assist in evaluating project returns, capital requirements, and key investment risks.* Learn to apply analytics and AI tools to test development scenarios and assess potential project outcomes.Development Business Plan Review* Assist in the review of development project business plans, including phasing strategies, budgets, and timelines.* Help analyze assumptions related to rents, pricing, absorption, development costs, and financing structures.* Support the use of data analysis and AI-enabled insights to evaluate development strategies and project assumptions.Investment Committee Support* Help prepare investment committee memoranda and presentations for development investment decisions.* Summarize financial model outputs and key investment metrics for review by senior management.* Support scenario analysis and risk assessments that inform investment recommendations.* Contribute to the development of AIassisted tools that streamline IC memo preparation and investment analysis.Financial Model Review* Assist in reviewing financial models prepared by development teams and external partners.* Help stresstest assumptions related to development costs, revenues, absorption, and financing structures.* Support the application of analytical techniques to identify inconsistencies, risks, or errors in underwriting models.Development Portfolio Analytics* Help maintain analytics on the national development portfolio, including capital deployment, projected returns, and risk exposures.* Support portfoliolevel performance reviews and development pipeline analysis.* Assist in developing data visualization dashboards and analytical tools for portfolio monitoring.Strategic Projects* Contribute to broader strategic initiatives across the development program, including development pipeline analytics and portfolio optimization, capital allocation analysis and market research, evaluation of joint venture opportunities and development partnerships, and initiatives to introduce AI and advanced analytics across development investment workflows.**Experience and Qualifications:*** 12 years of experience in real estate, investment analysis, consulting, financial analysis, or data analytics.* Exposure to real estate development underwriting or investment analysis is preferred but not required.* Bachelors or Masters degree in fields such as Real Estate; Finance or Economics; Engineering; Data Science or Computer Science; or Applied Mathematics.* Solid financial modeling and analytical skills.* Comfort working with Excelbased financial models and investment analysis.* Familiarity with real estate development economics is an asset.* Experience with or interest in learning tools such as Python or R;
