Role : Product Pre-Sales Engineer The ideal candidate is excited about working in a data-driven environment with strategic, high-growth accounts and has a passion for AI, Digital and Analytics. Whats the role all about? We are seeking a Product Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team to contribute to our presale function success. This is a technical sales role with a solid technical background in omnichannel virtual agents, customer and agent self-service solutions, analytics, and web programming skills. You will be a Digital & Analytics domain expert, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and IT executives, and will augment and enhance the customer self-service experience in voice and digital channels for new and existing NiCE customers. You will support the Sales team by leveraging deep product knowledge to demonstrate how our customer service automation solutions deliver business value and exceptional results. Responsibilities Obess over enabling customers to create solutions by working backwards from their business challenges. Define technical solution strategies that fit customers strategic objectives using NiCEs Customer Service Automation portfolio, including AI-driven intelligent virtual agents, knowledge management, analytics, models, intelligent routing, and digital engagement solutions. Interface with sales, engineering, and product stakeholders to incubate and jointly build innovative solutions. Possess a multi-faceted background with an understanding of the CCaaS space, emphasizing analytic and digital self-service solutions powered by AI. Lead demonstrations and engagements across CCaaS platforms focusing on conversational AI, knowledge management, messaging channels, and analytics. Evaluate, understand, and document prospect infrastructure (CCaaS, automation, messaging, knowledge solutions). Participate in discovery calls to identify opportunities for NiCE solutions; partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams. Tell compelling, technology-grounded stories that visualize customer-centric service. Respond to RFIs and RFPs with a proactive and creative approach. Build strong business acumen to learn new processes and understand how technology supports revenue and profit goals. Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related technology field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of hands-on technical experience in solutions engineering, solution/sales architecture, and/or data, including planning, executing, and managing complex software sales. 7+ years of consulting or customer engagement experience. 5+ years of contact center experience. Strong portfolio of best-of-class solutions with demonstrable work examples. Analytical mindset with strong interpersonal, presentation, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple technologies and tools. Knowledge of chatbot, automation, and/or conversational AI solutions. Familiarity with knowledge management, asynchronous messaging, and analytics solutions. Experience with Enterprise SaaS applications, architecture, APIs, and integrations. Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Ability to build internal relationships to evangelize the Customer Service Automation solutions. Knowledge of modern technologies across AI, Digital, Analytics, Telephony and Cloud platforms. Whats in it for you?
