The position involves creating and distributing current affairs and news content to audiences across multiple visual platforms, including linear television, local FAST channels and social platforms. The role operates a software-based mixing system during live programming and packages on-demand content using Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. Responsibilities Operate live video production equipment and software mixing systems during broadcasts. Package and distribute content for digital spaces, including video headlines, thumbnails and publishing. Collaborate with the Current Affairs team to create and deliver content for multiple platforms. Qualifications Passion, knowledge, and understanding of Manitoba and its diverse communities. Understanding of audience needs for news and current affairs content. Excellent live program production skills, including operation of software mixing systems. Comfort with basic audio and video signal flow in a studio environment. Solid foundation in video editing with Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Experience packaging and distributing content in digital spaces (headlines, thumbnails, publishing). Strong logic and problem-solving skills.
