Start YOUR career withDHL today As a Hamilton Gateway & HUB IT Services Infrastructure Specialist , you will play a critical role in supporting the operational technology that powers our Gateway facility. You will provide advanced technical support, maintain infrastructure reliability, enhance system performance, and contribute to DHLs high standards of service excellence. This role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required to support critical infrastructure needs. How will you contribute to the success of DHL? EndUser & Desktop Support Provide Tier II technical support for internal and external users, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices. Act as a subject matter expert on end-user computing, resolving complex and escalated technical issues. Manage system security, passwords, data integrity, and compliance with IT security policies. Provide documentation, user training, and guidance to support daily operations. Coordinate hardware repair activities with external service vendors. Infrastructure & Systems Support Troubleshoot and resolve issues across servers, networks, storage, and related infrastructure components. Support SATS autosort software and materialshandling systems within the Gateway environment. Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and enterprise technology rollouts. Maintain accurate IT asset records in the ITAM database. Operational Support & Continuous Improvement Conduct site surveys and support moves/adds/changes to IT equipment. Evaluate, maintain, and document desktop applications, including custom templates and macros. Test and assess new hardware and software to ensure compatibility with existing systems. Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain security best practices. Provide functional guidance and mentorship to end-users when required. Do you have what it takes? Education & Experience College diploma or bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 35+ years of experience providing Tier II support in an enterprise or operations environment. Experience supporting infrastructure in a 24/7 or mission-critical facility is an asset. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Windows desktop OS, Microsoft 365, and standard enterprise applications. Solid understanding of networks (LAN/WAN/WiFi), servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Experience with ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware/HyperV) is an advantage. Experience with ITAM processes and tools. Understanding cybersecurity principles and best practices. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving abilities with a customerfocused mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality. Thank you for your application.
