Who You are The Head of Wealth Management Sales will lead Purposes wealth sales team at Advisor Solutions by Purpose, working with advisors with an entrepreneurial drive to transition their business and pursue independence. We believe the US RIA model is emerging in Canada and advisors covet an innovative advisor centric partner building out systems and services to support true independence. This leadership role is responsible for sourcing, building and developing relationships with advisors across Canada and transitioning new advisors to our Advisor platform. Youll be developing and executing sales initiatives that support our mission to deliver purposeful, customized wealth solutions and deepen long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven track record in wealth management sales, partnering with advisors, a passion for client outcomes, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Responsibilities: What you will do Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the sales strategy for the wealth management platform, aligned with Purposes mission and business objectives. Lead the formulation of client acquisition and retention strategies to grow assets under management and enhance market share. Collaborate with partners on product development and service offerings that support long-term financial outcomes for clients. Drive the adoption of data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve decision-making, advisor experience, and sales effectiveness. Own wealth management sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, new client acquisition, and expansion of existing client relationships. Implement data-driven sales practices and tools to improve performance and predictability of results. Identify and pursue key markets, segments, and opportunities that align with Purposes value proposition. Lead, mentor, build and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of shared values, integrity, and continuous growth. Establish sales coaching, performance management, and development frameworks that nurture talent and support career progression. Drive cross-functional collaboration with advisory, operations, marketing, and service teams to deliver a seamless client experience. Stay informed on wealth management trends, competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and client expectations. Translate market insights into strategic initiatives and sales capabilities that differentiate Purpose in the marketplace. Qualifications: What you will bring 10+ years of proven leadership experience in wealth management with direct experience partnering with advisors and communicating the benefits of independence is preferred. A demonstrated ability to drive sustained revenue growth in a client-centric, consultative sales environment. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop diverse high-performance teams. Deep understanding of the wealth management industry, with insights on key topics including financial planning, investment management, tax-efficient strategies, and estate planning. Strategic thought leadership with the ability to influence, communicate complex ideas clearly, and build trusted relationships. Professional credentials such as CFP, CFA, CIM, or equivalent.
