The Business department focuses on developing pupils understanding of enterprise, finance and real world business concepts while encouraging analytical and problem solving skills. Responsibilities Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum Prepare pupils for GCSE or A Level examinations Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support Encourage discussion of real world business issues Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school Strong subject and curriculum knowledge Ability to engage and motivate learners Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
