Role Description This is a contractor role as a Mobile Powered Equipment Evaluator. The primary responsibilities include assessing the operational skills of individuals on various mobile powered equipment, including aerial lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, excavators, and skid steers. The evaluator will conduct safety assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, complete detailed evaluation reports, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. Effective communication and adherence to safety protocols are vital aspects of this role. Qualifications At least 5 years experience as a trainer/evaluator or 10+ years as an equipment operator. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with operating equipment such as aerial lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and excavators. Proficiency in conducting operational safety assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations. Excellent evaluation, reporting, and documentation skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear feedback and guidance. Ability to work independently in a remote capacity and manage time effectively. Certification as a power equipment operator or evaluator; additional certification in safety training or related areas is a plus.
