Position Overview Experience - Minimum 3 years recent related clinical experience in Anesthesia Nursing or ICU Nursing required. - Minimum 3 years recent related surgery experience preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) - Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred. Certification/Licensure/Registration - Current CRNM registration required. - Current BCLS required. Qualifications and Skills - Demonstrated ability to establish IVs required. Setting up and interpreting invasive monitoring required. - Demonstrated patient/family teaching ability required. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other health disciplines is required. - Critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently is required. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. - The ability to complete the job on a regular & consistent basis required. Physical Requirements Not Applicable This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
