Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience within the specific division being hired into and be deemed competent to work independently. The Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS and Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT are qualified by specific didactic, laboratory, and clinical technological education to perform various cardiovascular/peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Qualifications Education: Graduate from an accredited school Allied Health Services Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program with Certification AS (Associate of Science) degree. Experience: Minimum 2 years within the specific division. Completion of 500 hrs PCI certified working in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a Hospital with an Open Heart Surgery program. Licenses/Certifications: Certification from accredited Allied Health Cardiovascular Technology Invasive Program; BLS and ACLS certification required; Registry eligible with RCIS or ARRT RT (R).
