How Registered Mammography Technologist support our teams at Grand River Hospital: As a Grand River Hospital employee, the Technologist embraces, promotes and models the mission, vision and values of the Grand River Hospital Corporation through excellence in team building, a focus on quality of care, safety and effective communication. The Registered Mammography Technologist Will: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms utilizing workup and evaluation skills in an environment with high exam through put. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. Perform and assist with all mammographic interventional procedures. Perform navigator duties for a Regional Breast Assessment Clinic. Demonstrates problem-solving skills. Participates in team building environment. The successful candidate will commit to working towards the completion of the CAMRT Certificate in Breast Imaging Diagnostic (CBID). Rotation through general radiography at KW site and Freeport site required. Demonstrate excellence in interpersonal and communication skills in a challenging environment. Contributes to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. At Grand River Hospital, Our Registered Mammography Technologist: Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists (Ontario). Membership in the C.A.M.R.T. is preferred but not required. Completed or enrolled in Breast Imaging 1 & 2 an asset. Completed or enrolled in Imaging Breast Pathology (IBP) an asset. Completed or enrolled in the Certificate in Breast Imaging Diagnostic (CBID) an asset. Demonstrated continuing education.
