JOIN OUR TEAM POSITION: PartTime Homemaker Independent Contractor Area: Kitchener Cambridge North Dumfries (and Surrounding Area) Salary: $24.00 per hour (Rate Effective April 1/26 -- may be eligible for $26.00 per hour) Do you want to go into business for yourself? Community Support Connections is currently recruiting Independent Contractors for its Homemaking Program to provide assistance with light housekeeping, laundry and minor meal preparation only. Our Homemakers do not provide any personal hygiene care at all no client lifting, bathing, dressing or biohazard cleaning whatsoever. Our Contract Work is categorically easier, safer & more flexible for applicants who may have other family/parental obligations, another job or even pursuing parttime education. For this reason, many of our Homemakers are former/current/graduating PSW''s or working Moms attracted by our competitive pay rate, lighter workload and flexible scheduling. Our clients include older adults and persons with disabilities, living within the Greater KitchenerCambridgeNorth Dumfries Area. Are you ready to join our IndustryBest Team? This position is parttime with flexible hours. Clients pay a perhour set fee (2 hour booking minimum) for the service, directly to the Homemaker. Suitable candidates must have: Exceptional cleaning skills Excellent communication skills Some experience with older adults and/or persons with disabilities Access to a reliable vehicle Successful candidates must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (VSPC) and 3 personal references (excluding family members) before they can join our Independent Contractor Team.
