Job Overview The IT Service Centre Level 1-2 Technical Support employee will be responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to endusers. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity problems, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a customerfocused approach. Must be able to lift 15kg (33lbs). Requires a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to user workflows. Provide comprehensive support to end users, addressing both hardware and software issues across various devices and systems. Develop userfriendly training materials and articles to empower end users, and offer personalized training sessions to enhance user competence with IT tools. Deliver timely, handson assistance either onsite or remotely, ensuring users are supported wherever they are. Anticipate user needs and proactively provide solutions to common or recurring technical issues. Support Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, and other common software suites to ensure smooth functioning of essential systems for end users. Collaborate with different departments on various IT projects to improve organizational efficiency and support key initiatives. Promptly respond to and resolve user requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Deploy, upgrade, and refresh hardware and devices, ensuring that all equipment remains up to date and fully functional. Handle userrelated Active Directory tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, group assignments, and email filter management in Microsoft Exchange. Continuously assess and enhance service delivery processes, collaborating with team members to improve overall IT support efficiency. Manage software licensing and ensure compliance across various software platforms used by the organization. Recognize unresolved issues and expedite escalation to appropriate teams or higherlevel support promptly. Undertake other duties as assigned by the IT department to support overall IT operations. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of direct work experience in user support. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration is an asset. Strong knowledge of Windows and familiarity with common software applications and IT hardware. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols. Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customerfocused with a positive attitude.
