Job Description

Locum and Partnership-track positions available.Minimal weekend (8am 5 pm) shifts per year (three-five weekends per year)Evening shift from 5pm 11:30 pm three times per year (or more if preferred) from Saturday evening to Friday evening (ie. 7 nights) with additional reimbursement please note that neuroradiologists do not participate in this pool and have a separate call scheduleResidents cover from 11:30 pm to 8 amCall shifts can be done remotely in the cityAll areas of expertise are welcomeGuaranteed 10 weeks vacationHighly remunerative practiceMalpractice insurance is provided through Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)Health, dental, disability insurance is providedManitoba X-Ray Clinic provides service for St. Boniface, Grace, Concordia and Misericordia hospitals and an outpatient sports medicine facility. The hospital practices are high volume and include CT, X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, MRI, Mammography and Interventional Radiology.General call duties are expected and include coverage of CT, US and Xray during the evening and weekends throughout the year. Call duties are split between all members of the group.Competitive remuneration is offered. Candidates must be eligible for board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or have American Board Certification.QualificationsBoard certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the Royal College of the Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)Candidates in the process of completing the practice eligibility route for Canadian licensing may also be consideredGroupManitoba X-Ray Clinic (MXC) is a highly cohesive and collegial group of 21 academic subspecialty and general radiologists.
