The role is cross functional, with Tax opportunities in driving strategies, maximizing cash planning attributes, consulting, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations in both direct and indirect taxes. In this role you will help minimize the company''''s tax liabilities and mitigate any potential risks. Responsibilities Drive tax strategies to minimize cash tax by maximizing the Research and Development credit and other Canadian tax opportunities Develop Annual Operating Plan (AOP) effective tax rate and monitor and report current year impacts that may change quarterly and annual results Lead inputs that support amounts and timing of cash tax payments Lead balance sheet inputs related to Current and Deferred income tax balances Support the filing of various corporate tax returns with external advisors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws. Stay current with changes in tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on the company''''s tax position. Collaborate with both the Honeywell Aerospace Tax Department and external tax advisors to address, design, or support specific tax issues.
