Role Summary The Regional Director of Operational Excellence is a senior leadership role tasked with championing operational excellence, strengthening financial performance, and enhancing workforce effectiveness across the organization. As a strategic partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, this individual will ensure the organization consistently delivers exceptional client experiences, meets operational and financial objectives, and upholds strong process discipline throughout all business operations. As a Regional Director of Operational Excellence your responsibilities will include: Act as main liaison with National Operations and Finance, managing financial reporting for the Southern Ontario region, analyzing outcomes, and recommending actions to help leadership reach budget and strategic targets. Oversee work in progress (WIP) and accounts receivable, ensuring strong operational practices and collaborating with National Business Support for clear communication, data accuracy and improve standardization of practices. Work with senior leadership and local partners to drive high-quality client experiences through effective project management and ongoing feedback metrics. Drive adoption of firms Finance & Operations system, prioritizing data integrity, workflow adherence, and seamless onboarding of new teams. Partner with Southern Ontario Management Committee on workforce forecasting, hiring, and annual resource allocation, maintaining alignment with growth priorities and serving as the primary contact for resource management. Support colleague development in partnership with People & Culture to help identify accelerated growth opportunities for colleagues. Oversee onboarding and integration of new teams in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring coordinated transitions and resource planning. Ensure accountability for team growth and office leadership targets, optimizing team utilization and across all levels of the organization. Serve as key contact with leadership teams across the firm to maintain strategic alignment and maximize operational effectiveness throughout the organization. Great. 7+ years as a senior leader in business operations and organizational effectiveness initiatives, with proven experience in operations management, business administration, or a related fieldideally at the senior manager or director level. Completion of Bachelor or advanced level degree (Masters) in related field: Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or Operations Management Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation an asset but not required Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams is essential, supported by strong leadership and team collaboration skills and a track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational targets. Very strong business acumen, exceptional communication, and critical thinking skills are prerequisites; expertise in resource management, workflow optimization, and the deployment of business tools or systems is also required. Experience in multi-jurisdictional services environments will be an asset. Steward the collective vision of system, people, and process changesability to simplify complex subjects and help people see the what and the why. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities to earn the trust and confidence of colleagues at all levels, influence decision-makers, rally resources, and work with others to meet Business Unit deliverables. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity . To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $133,000$183,000 in Toronto.
