Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, BC | Remote | Extensive Travel Our client, a premium pet nutrition company, is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Territory Sales Manager to oversee retail growth across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. This is a high visibility field sales role focused on developing new business, strengthening retail partnerships, and executing strategic growth initiatives within an established territory. The successful candidate will bring a consultative sales approach, strong route planning discipline, and a genuine passion for the pet industry. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada and collaborate closely with national sales, marketing, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Own and grow sales performance across an assigned territory Develop new retail partnerships and expand distribution within existing accounts Create and execute territory sales plans, including Top Account business planning Maintain consistent face to face engagement with retail partners Deliver compelling product presentations, training sessions, and margin reviews Identify growth opportunities through market analysis and competitive intelligence Drive new business through proactive outreach, store visits, and grassroots selling Manage customer concerns and develop effective solutions Track and report on sales activity, forecasts, and market trends using CRM tools Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, customer service, logistics, and finance Represent the brand at industry events and trade shows Qualifications 3 plus years of structured outside sales experience, ideally within CPG or retail distribution Valid drivers license and clean driving record Valid passport and ability to travel extensively across the territory Ability to work remotely with a dedicated home office setup Comfortable lifting product samples up to 40 lbs Skills and Attributes Strong consultative selling and relationship building capabilities Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow and manage a territory independently Excellent presentation and training facilitation skills Highly organized with strong time management and route planning discipline Analytical mindset with forecasting and budget management capability Collaborative team player with strong communication skills Passion for pet nutrition and willingness to become a product expert Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Full time, exempt position Remote based with approximately 40 percent overnight travel Flexible schedule based on territory needs and customer engagement #J-18808-Ljbffr
