Our Laboratory Medicine Department uses state of the art equipment, technology and processes to collect and test clinical specimens in order to obtain information about the health of our patients so that our inter-professional teams can diagnose, treat and prevent disease. Reporting to the Chief Medical Laboratory Director and Director, Laboratory Medicine, our Pathologist Assistants II are responsible for performing a variety of tasks consisting primarily of gross examination of surgical pathology specimens and the assistance with the performance of autopsies under the direction and supervision of a pathologist. Are you a Pathologist Assistant certified with the Canadian Certification Council of Pathologists Assistants (CCCPA) or equivalent? Do you have experience with both adult and neonatal autopsy?
