Building Operator - Community OperationRepresentativeThisrole requires a highly motivated individual to be responsible todemonstrate leadershipinthe day-to-dayoperationsincluding dailycleaning,maintenance,and preventative maintenance of community systems at275 Slater St, Ottawa.In your customer first mentality you build relationships with community customers, your colleagues, external contractors, while working closely with the Taylor Co. leadership team. You monitor and adjust all aspects of the community and community equipment to ensure customer comfort and maximum efficiency is achieved.You leadcustomer relationships and provide support to the community administration.Taylor Co. is an organization that puts customers and clients first.We believe in winning by anticipating needs, being honest and considerate.All Taylor Co. team members go above and beyond in this pursuit.You will be responsible for:Customer, client and colleague satisfactionPrioritizing daily activitiesfor yourself and othersAssisting colleagues and leadership with aspects of community, community operation includingcapital investments/projects, and recommendations to improveThe operations of building systems; (examples) including elevator, plumbing, lighting, HVAC and other mechanical equipment and electrical systems.The community maintenanceincluding daily activitiesand cleanlinessof the property.Supervision of any on site staff including any regular contract employees and contractors providing maintenance work.Maintaining an effective equipment preventative maintenance program, fire & life safety program throughout the communityInspections and troubleshooting the HVAC system and other components as required.To succeed in this role:You must be working towards: Building Environmental Systems (BES) Operator Class 1or/and 2 or BOMA Systems Mechanical Technician (SMT) or BOMA Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA)Preferred 3-5 Years ExperienceWorking knowledge of AngusMust be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of our customers and colleaguesThrive in an organization that constantly will evolve and adaptSharing knowledge and close collaboration with the community team and Taylor Co. leadership within a reciprocal environmentDriven to achieve results and continuously striving to deliver the highest performance through creative thinking
