This role ensures the seamless coordination and execution of events, delivering exceptional service while maximizing hotel revenue. The Complex Catering Sales Manager oversees the prompt, courteous, and efficient delivery of products and services to meet client needs and uphold the hotel''s profitability. The Complex Catering Sales Manager is primarily responsible for: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and professional experience. Manage customer relationships by drafting proposals and contracts, responding to inquiries, and coordinating logistics for social and corporate events. Represent the hotel in all client interactions, conducting sales calls and meetings via phone or in person to secure group and local catering business. Create highly detailed and accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Support Food & Beverage Operations and Room Reservations teams by providing accurate event details, group block updates, and forecasts. Support cluster or portfolio hotels as required based on business demands. Manage deposit schedules, payment timelines, and outstanding client balances in accordance with hotel policy. Resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with Accounting to ensure transparency and exceptional post-event service. Prospect, source, and convert new catering business through proactive outreach, networking, industry events, and relationshipbuilding. Maintain accurate and detailed client records, communications, and revenue tracking within the CRM system. As this role supports a complex of two (2) properties, responsibilities may extend to supporting the Hilton Toronto Airport as required. A degree in a relevant field is an asset. Strong knowledge of the local market. Indepth understanding of the hospitality industry. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods based on client and business needs. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple highpriority events concurrently. Strong negotiation, problemsolving, and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 20lbs when assisting clients or supporting event setup.
