Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job Description The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance is performed in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manual, Maintenance Policy Manual, and Detailed Procedures Documents, while strictly adhering to Canadian Aviation Regulations and technical documentation standards. Responsibilities Ensure maintenance activities comply with the policies and procedures in the MCM, MPM, DPDs, aircraft and component maintenance manuals, and Transport Canada requirements. Maintain an AME M2 license and ACA qualifications as required on company aircraft. Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance, AVOP, Passport, and full G Drivers License. Mentor new Apprentices. Liaise with the Lead and MOC regarding scheduled overnight work packages. Ensure technical documentation, such as maintenance releases and Work Packs, is completed according to company standards before submission to Technical Records. Assist with ground support equipment maintenance and generate logs for equipment requiring repair. Ensure consumable materials and tooling stored in the hangar and service vehicles are kept neat and tidy. Support AOG maintenance system-wide as required. Assist the Lead in maintaining cleanliness in hangar work areas, offices, service vehicles, and equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Essential Skills AME M2 or E License needed Work Environment The role involves working on a rotational shift (5-5-4) with 2 weeks from 7 AM to 7 PM and 2 weeks from 7 PM to 7 AM, primarily based at Toronto''s Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) or Ottawa Airport in a clean and bright aircraft hangar. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Toronto, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
