We are looking for a Technical Test Automation Lead to raise the standard of testing and release confidence across our engineering organization. This is a handson technical leadership role focused on building automation, defining testing standards, and improving how we ship software across backend services and client applications. You will work across Golang and Elixir backend systems and Unitybased frontend clients, helping teams move faster with greater stability and confidence. You will act as the bridge between Engineering and QA, driving a platformwide automation strategy, mentoring existing automation engineers, and reducing reliance on repetitive manual testing. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the test automation strategy across backend and client systems. Design and implement: Integration testing frameworks for Go and Elixir services Crossservice scenario and endtoend tests Environment and deployment validation tests Introduce automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Establish standards for: Servicelevel test coverage Integration and scenario testing Deployment and migration validation Build automated checks for: Reward and transaction flows Eventdriven systems and pub/sub pipelines External service integrations Partner with backend and Unity engineers to improve system testability. Mentor QA automation engineers and help grow their technical capabilities. Reduce manual testing effort by replacing repetitive scenarios with reliable automated coverage. What Success Looks Like (First 69 Months) A shared integration testing framework adopted across key backend services. Automated environment validation before releases. Reduced manual QA involvement during backend deployments. Clear testing standards used consistently across teams. Faster, more predictable production releases with fewer regressions. What are we looking for? 6+ years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or platform engineering. Strong background in backend test automation for distributed systems. Handson experience designing or testing eventdriven systems with atleastonce message delivery (e.g. Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) including strategies for idempotent processing and duplicate event handling. Experience building: Integration tests Endtoend test suites CI/CDbased testing pipelines Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and eventdriven architectures. Nice to Have Experience testing game backends or realtime systems. Familiarity with Unity client architecture or game client automation. Load, performance, or chaos testing experience. Experience with: Kubernetes Prometheus or similar monitoring tools Pub/Sub or messagedriven systems Financial, wallet, or rewardbased systems Whats in it for you?
