Senior .NET Backend Developer with Backbase Experience We seek a Senior Backend Engineer with experience in Backbase and .NET. Good teamwork skills and experience performing peer code reviews. Must Have Qualifications: 8+ years of productionlevel experience in .NET (C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework). Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension. Proficiency in RESTful Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML). Experience with Microservices architecture and unit testing using .NET testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest). Handson knowledge of web servers and hosting environments (e.g., Kestrel, IIS, or cloudnative app services). Familiarity with Git or similar source control tools. Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and modern .NET messaging frameworks (e.g., MassTransit, MediatR). Experience developing largescale distributed systems. Experience with SaaS platforms or ServiceOriented Architectures (SOA). Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in handling sensitive data security. Good knowledge of SQL. Nice to Haves: Experience with FinTech or working with financial services, credit unions, or banks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of TDD and Continuous Integration (CI) processes. Awareness of OWASP best practices for secure code. Experience with Hibernate or other persistence frameworks. Strong database experience (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL). Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension. Location This is a 100% remote, fulltime position; however, candidates must be based in Canada. Compensation The typical salary range for this position is: CAD $90K$120K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
