WHATS ON OFFER As a Senior Data Implementation Engineer , reporting to the Manager, Technical Implementations , you will own complex customer implementations endtoend and act as a technical escalation point within the team. You will partner closely with Business Acceleration, Engineering, and Product to design scalable data solutions and ensure successful delivery for strategic customers. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply handson, technically strong, and comfortable leading complex integrations while mentoring more junior engineers. WHAT YOU WILL DO Own complex customer implementations from technical discovery through production golive Build automated ETL workflows to enable repeatable and high quality data ingestion Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Utilise modern data tools like PySpark and Snowflake to explore and troubleshoot issues with ETL, data ingestion or system configuration Define data validation frameworks and ensure high data quality standards Serve as an escalation point for implementation challenges and production issues Mentor and support junior Data Implementation Engineers Drive continuous improvements to implementation standards, tooling and processes Ensure compliance with data security, privacy and industry regulations WHAT YOU BRING 5+ years of experience in data implementation, migration or ETL engineering Strong handson experience with PySpark, Snowflake, SQL and Python Experience designing complex data pipelines and system integrations Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Experience with APIs, eventdriven systems and integration frameworks Experience working directly with enterprise customers Life sciences or pharma experience strongly preferred Ability to lead technical discussions with both customers and internal stakeholders Strong mentoring mindset and ownership mentality WHAT WE OFFER A strong, passionate, valuesbased culture; we Ignite Innovation, Own It and Stand Together Meaningful stock option grants Medical & dental benefits with immediate enrollment for fulltime, permanent employees Flexible timeoff Remote first, WFH flexibility with intentional, highvalue inperson collaboration sessions, team meetings and socials LOCATION ODAIA is a remote first organisation, with employees located across Canada and the U.S. Our primary office hub is located in central downtown Toronto and walking distance from Union Station. The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 - $130,000 CAD this range represents ODAIAs goodfaith estimate based on current market data and internal equity. Final compensation is determined through a comprehensive review of the successful candidates unique skill set, specialised experience, certifications and other relevant considerations. As such, the final offer may vary based on these specific factors. Salary expectations will be discussed collaboratively early in the process to ensure alignment.
