As our Senior Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. The Senior Project Manager provides leadership to project teams, manages client relationships, and drives continuous improvement across multiple projects. You will also oversee scope, schedule, budget, and change management at a strategic level while providing guidance to technical staff and supporting business development through proposal and bid leadership. Detailed Job Responsibilities Provide full lifecycle leadership of construction dewatering projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, financial performance, and final closeout. Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, estimators, field supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery. Develop and implement technical dewatering solutions by selecting appropriate drilling, pumping, support, and discharge systems based on site conditions and engineered requirements. Oversee preparation and review of technical proposals, engineered dewatering and discharge filtration plans, cost estimates, and defined scopes of work. Manage all contractual obligations including contract review, negotiation, scope management, change orders, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution. Maintain strong client relationships, actively pursue new project opportunities, and contribute to business development initiatives within Transportation, Water/Sewer Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, and large infrastructure sectors. Monitor project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, accounts receivable coordination, and cash flow management. Lead coordination meetings, manage field operations, and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges. Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering leadership capability and technical growth within the organization. Ensure strict compliance with Aquatechs Health, Safety, and Environmental Management standards. Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvement initiatives, and long-term organizational growth objectives. Demonstrate flexibility and leadership by performing additional duties as necessary to ensure project success, client satisfaction, and the continued growth and success of the organization. Expand the companys presence within assigned territories by developing relationships with key consultants, public agencies, and project stakeholders during early planning and design stages. Track regional infrastructure programs, capital plans, and upcoming tenders to identify future opportunities and position the company strategically ahead of procurement. Collaborate with executive leadership, estimating, and engineering teams to develop pursuit strategies, technical approaches, and competitive positioning for major project opportunities. Job Qualifications: Education, Certification, Technical Skills and Soft Skills Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Masters degree is an asset. 5-7+ years of progressive project management experience, including large-scale commercial, industrial, or civil projects. Experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity for both private and public sector clients is preferred. PMP or Gold Seal Certification strongly preferred. Health & Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, COR, First Aid, WHMIS). Advanced knowledge of construction methods, codes, and regulations. Experience with fast-tracking approvals, permitting, and working with municipal authorities is an asset. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera). Strong financial management and contract administration skills. High literacy in financial reporting, forecasting, and project controls. Leadership: ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams. Proven ability to build inclusive, high-performing teams and manage diverse stakeholders.
