This is a permanent position for a 8 year old ASD child. You must live in Fenelon Falls or nearby. Care would be in your home. Required care: Week one Mon, Wed, and Fri. Week 2 some Tues and Thurs. Same schedule for P.A. Days but will require full days. pick up from Langton Public School at 310pm care until between 530 and 6 pm Give snack and provide appropriate outlets for play or decompression. Toileting assistance (prompting) I provide extra foods for snack time, but I encouraged you to offer other food choices to help him branch out. Our son is an energetic, loving and bright child who loves music, trains, photo/video making/editing. He is verbal, and is at risk of bolting. A secured yard is preferable. We are looking for a caring and patient caregiver. Preference will be given to those who have experience with Autism. Male or Female caregiver and university or college students are welcome to apply.
