Macrotek Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Associate.We are a small, very experienced, interdisciplinary company specializing in custom-designed and engineered pollution control system solutions for a variety of industries.We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and general facility needs. This role involves receiving and preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and assisting with light assembly and administrative tasks. There is significant opportunity for training and growth for the right individual.This is a full-time, salaried position, working out of the office/warehouse Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Salary is dependent on the individual's experience.Key Responsibilities:Receiving & InspectionInspect incoming goods against purchase ordersTake photos and document received itemsSign and file packing slipsNotify the purchaser of deliveries and discrepanciesOrganize and store materials until requiredShipping & Outgoing GoodsPrepare and package outgoing shipmentsLog shipments and take photos for recordsAssist with preparing packing lists and shipping documentationWarehouse OperationsLoad and unload trucks and trailersMaintain organization of warehouse space, tools, and stock itemsEnsure efficient use of storage spaceAdministrative SupportAssist with preparing purchase orders for general itemsContact vendors for pricing informationAssist with spare parts proposalsProvide minor project-related administrative supportGeneral MaintenanceMaintain a clean and organized warehouse and office environmentPerform basic facility tasks such as changing light bulbs and removing garbageEnsure workspaces remain clean and safeAssembly SupportAssist with basic assembly, piping, and wiring tasks as neededUse basic hand and power tools safely and effectivelyQualifications & Requirements:Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or shop experience is preferredAbility to safely lift and move materials using proper equipment when requiredComfortable using hand tools and basic power toolsExperience operating a pallet jack or dollyAbility to work independently and assist across multiple areas of the businessStrong organizational and time-management skillsGood attention to detail, particularly when checking incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing shipmentsAbility to work independently and take initiative without constant supervisionBasic computer skills (email, simple spreadsheets, or inventory tracking)Valid drivers license is an assetCommitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environmentExperience with basic assembly, piping, or wiring tasks in a workshop or industrial environmentComfortable working in a small team environment where responsibilities vary day-to-dayMust be reliable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of tasksGrowth Opportunity:This position offers excellent opportunities for growth and career development for a motivated individual interested in expanding their skills in warehouse operations and project support.This position is best suited for someone who enjoys staying busy, being organized, and contributing to a small team environment.***In your application, please briefly describe any hands-on or warehouse experience you have.
