This role is responsible for providing content expertise in the development of assessment solutions used in the Talent field. Specifically, your focus will be on assessment solutions that provide human resource professionals, recruiting teams, leadership practitioners, and executive coaches with meaningful insights into emotional intelligence, resilience, personality, and indicators of workplace fit and potential. These solutions measure and manage talent, fit, and potential, and are ideal for use in coaching, organization and leadership development, selection, and succession planning. The role requires a thorough understanding of test development principles and practices, and research methodology, as well as familiarity with statistical analysis and interpretation. The general mission is to work with both authors and internal departments to create customer centric assessments that are scientifically sound and user-friendly. WHAT YOULL DO Take a lead role and responsibility for scientific content of assigned projects and work with Research & Development, Market Development Managers, Project Management, Data Collection, Psychometrics, Software Development, User Experience, and Learning and Development team members to develop new products Work with Marketing, Business Development, and User Experience teams to ensure customer considerations and needs are addressed in product development efforts and to provide sales support Ensure the timely release of error free and high-quality assessments, which meet APA/AERA standards Complete literature reviews, blueprint projects and document product development process Create and structure test items Work with the Data Collection team to prepare data collection specifications and monitor progress Integrate statistical and methodological findings into test development Prepare specifications for digital assessments and build assessments Prepare programming specifications for computerized reports Conduct quality assurance testing of digital assessments and reports Write psychological content of technical manuals Respond to technical customer inquiries Communicate and promote positive and professional relationships with the authors Give presentations on new assessments and ongoing research WHAT YOU BRING Ideally you are a self-starter who is highly organized and can deliver against tight timelines. You thrive when working on multiple projects using your analytical skills to deliver results. Your advanced written and verbal communication skills will be used to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups and deliver excellent presentations. In addition, you bring: Masters degree in psychology (Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred) or a related discipline with graduate level courses in psychological research methods and statistics Strongly preferred: at least 1-year experience working in Industrial/Organizational Psychology-related consulting or research role (e.g., OD consultant, Talent Management, Assessor, Research Assistant) Excellent writing and editing skills Ability to deliver informative and comprehensive presentations; excellent oral communication and public speaking skills Ability to effectively and meaningfully convey complex scientific concepts and results to various audiences Ability to work on multiple complex projects and prioritize to meet deadlines Creative problem-solving abilities Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as in a dynamic team environment Have a strong attention to detail balanced within the framework of the final product Knowledge and understanding of test development principles and practices Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Copilot) Some travel required Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per annum LIFE AT MHS We are an inclusive and collaborative team who encourage everyone here to learn, grow and THRIVE.
