Role: Transportation Coordinator/Data Entry Clerk Type: 6 month contract Location: East Gwillimbury, ON Rate: $19-$20/hr Shift Hours: 8:00 PM 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts) Rotation: Every other week Week 1: Wednesday through Saturday (4 nights, 48 hours total) Week 2: Thursday through Saturday (3 nights, 36 hours total) Pattern: Alternates between 4-night and 3-night workweeks JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for a Transportation Coordinator (Nightshift) to join our retail clients Transportation team in the GTA for a 6 month contract. This is a fully onsite role, which runs a 12hr rotation that alternates between 4-night and 3-night workweeks. The Transportation Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting daily logistics and dispatch functions, ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, vendors, and internal teams. This entry-level position involves managing transportation systems, handling data entry and reporting, tracking store transfers and vendor appointments, and responding to operational issues such as trailer servicing and spill cleanups. Ideal for a recent graduate, the role offers in-house training and requires strategic decision-making, basic spreadsheet skills, and familiarity with the GTAs geography. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (data entry, copy/paste etc.,) Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills and a strategic mindset. Familiarity with GTA geography (transportation routes will all be within Ontario). Willingness to be trained in WHMIS procedures for spill cleanup and protocols. NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Educational background in supply chain, logistics, or a related field
