As part of the growth of our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) office, we are seeking a Team Lead Technologist to provide technical leadership, ensure excellence in project delivery, and support the development of our technical teams. The Role Reporting to the Associate Project Director , the Team Lead Technologistis responsible forthe technical coordination and supervision of technologists on architectural projects of varying complexity. You will ensure the quality of technical deliverables, compliance with building codes and GKC standards, and adherence to project schedules, while fostering collaboration and continuous skill development within the team. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and coordinate technical project activities in collaboration with the Project Director. Supervise the production of drawings, details, and technical specifications prepared by technologists. Ensure all deliverablescomply withapplicable building codes and internal GKC standards. Manage technical communications with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Identifytechnical risks and unforeseenissues andproposetimelyand effective solutions. Mentor, guide, and support technologists in their day-to-day tasks and professional development. Represent the technical team in interdisciplinary coordination meetings asrequired. Profile Sought Architectural Technology (Advanced Diploma) or equivalent technical diploma. Minimum 10 years of industry experience , including involvement in complex architectural projects. Advancedproficiencyin Revit and BIM coordination tools . In-depth knowledge of building codes, technical standards, and construction practices. Proven ability to manage complex technical projects andanticipaterisks. Key Competencies Strong technical leadership and the ability to supervise and motivate teams.
