Health and Safety Coordinator (Permanent Full Time) Location: Brampton, ON (travel to other Ontario facilities required) About the Role: The Health and Safety Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening the companys safety management systems across multiple Ontario facilities. You will support the HSEP program, guide Joint Health and Safety Committees, train operators, and assist with safety digitization and emergency equipment programs. This is a hands-on, relationship driven role requiring regular travel between sites (approximately 600 km per week). You bring a proactive, positive approach and the ability to engage employees at all levels to drive meaningful safety improvements. What Youll Be Doing Conduct health and safety audits across facilities to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Support and help lead the HSEP program. Coordinate and support Joint Health and Safety Committees (JHSC) to ensure active participation and effective communication. Assist with the transition to digital health and safety management systems. Lead and manage emergency equipment inspection programs across all sites. Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing hazardous energy control (Lockout/Tagout) procedures. Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Travel between facilities to support health and safety programs and maintain compliance. What We Require Bachelors degree or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from an accredited Canadian university or college. 13 years of experience in health and safety coordination within manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience conducting audits, delivering operator training, and investigating incidents. Valid drivers license, current insurance, and access to a personal vehicle. Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships. A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Why Join Us?
