Bring your expertise, skills, and enthusiasm to CIMCO Refrigeration and help shape a promising future.Role ResponsibilitiesWhat We Are Looking For:A professional eager to help build and develop an HVAC and Commercial refrigeration departmentAn enthusiastic collaborator ready to contribute and grow with the departmentA proactive individual who pays attention to detail and can quickly solve technical problemsAn entrepreneurial attitude towards work and customer relationshipsRole Responsibilities:Contribute to the development and expansion of our commercial and HVAC teamPerform field services to install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systemsConduct contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and respond to service requestsAttend bid meetings, providing valuable insights and assistance for sales to complete bid/tender packagesCollaborate with sub-contractors to execute work and provide accurate information for sales estimatesCommunicate effectively with customers to recommend necessary upgrades or repairsDemonstrate self-sufficiency by generating new work and leads for sales follow-upPartner closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesEstablish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective communicationMaintain a professional appearance and ensure that all workspaces, including vehicles and equipment, are clean and well-organizedComplete and submit all required paperwork accurately and on timeUtilize advanced software and technology, along with a variety of hand tools and rigging equipment, to diagnose and repair equipmentEnsure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining security and accountability of company-issued assetsWork as part of a team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of serviceParticipate in the on-call rotation for 24/7 service coverage, with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as neededBenefitsCompetitive Union Benefits and Pay ScaleDynamic work environment with opportunities to gain experience in all areas of the refrigeration industryProfessional development opportunities and trainingClear pathways for career growthDedicated and supportive teamAccess to an in-house automation and engineering team for design and troubleshooting supportRequired Professional Knowledge, Skills & QualificationsRefrigeration Mechanic - Red SealGasfitter B Ticket, with the ability to pull permits as needed10+ years of Journeyman experienceDiverse HVAC and Refrigeration background with experience in:Large and small air handling unitsRefrigeration systems (Racks, Condensing units, self-contains)Dehumidifiers (mechanical and desiccant)Boilers (natural draft, forced air, and high efficiency)Hydronic systems (heat pumps, heat recovery loops, etc.)Chillers (screws)Ice machinesAbility to diagnose and install electrical and controls specific to refrigeration and HVAC equipmentExperience interacting with DDC, PLC, and BMS automation systemsSelf-sufficient and able to generate new work and leadsProfessional and presentableStrong administrative skills, including:Familiarity with Microsoft 365 softwareFamiliarity with tablet-based paperwork and documentationProperly filling out paperwork and ability to write professional emailsProviding detailed information for sales follow-up when neededPhysical ability to complete all required job tasks.Valid driver's licenseAdditional Desired Qualifications (not required)Gasfitter 'A' Ticket15+ years of Journeyman experienceCO2 refrigeration experience (Trans-critical, Sub-Critical, and Cascade)Experience with centrifugal chillersExperience with ammonia refrigeration systems (industrial and recreational)Estimating and Sales ExperienceWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Company ProfileCIMCO specializes in the engineering, design, manufacture, installation, and service of complex thermal building solutions for industrial, process cooling, and recreational refrigeration and mechanical systems.
