After three consecutive years of fulltime service, participation is mandatory.Healthcare and Dental BenefitsThe YMCA of Three Rivers offers a comprehensive group benefit package (after three months from start date) that includes prescription drugs, basic dental coverage, vision care and access to professional services such as registered massage therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, psychotherapist, chiropractor and naturopath.What you will doDevelop contacts with local employers and serve as the initial liaison between employers and Employment Coaches.Access and support the employment and job placement of clients accessing the YMCA Employment Services.Major ResponsibilitiesEnsure excellent customer service, communication, and professionalismto build strong relationships with employers, clients, and internal team members.Act as the initial point of contact for employers.Conduct triage, vet employers, and complete employer registration.Coordinate job postings received from employers, serving as the central job board contact. Ensure the internal employer job board is updated promptly.Support employer recruitment by identifying, contacting, and building relationships with prospective employers in labor markets aligned with clients interests.Enter and upload accurate information in all required systems within 24hours, including statistical and financial data, referrals, job development, retention activities, and followups. Maintain detailed case notes for both client and employer information.Negotiate, track, and update employer and client budgets.Support Employment Coaches.Represent the YMCA for case conferencing, professional development, community engagement, and relationship building at internal and external meetings.Verify system accuracy, correct data incompatibility, and review outputs.Comply with data integrity and security policies on all systems, maintaining confidentiality.Develop employment placements for clients, ensuring compliance with MTCU requirements.Coach and mentor clients and employers.Complete placement documentation with Employment Coaches.Monitor placements through worksite visits and client progress tracking, in collaboration with Employment Coaches.Promote services to employers to increase awareness, build relationships, and create placement opportunities.Participate in professional development and stay current with labor market trends.Actively engage in YMCA staff and networking meetings.Attend workshops, training, conferences, and staff meetings as required.Perform other duties as assigned.What you will bringCompletion of a postsecondary degree or diploma in Human Services.23years of experience in employment or social services.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel regularly across the region; access to a valid G drivers licence and a fulltime vehicle is strongly recommended.Acceptable police check.What you will gainYou will be part of an organization that has a massive impact across our community and is part of a global movement.
