Build your Foundation with a Growing Company Industra Construction Corp. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of complex construction projects across British Columbia and Northern Canada. This role is ideal for an experienced Project Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to play a meaningful role in delivering challenging infrastructure and industrial projects. Working closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, you will help coordinate project documentation, procurement, subcontractor communications, scheduling, and cost tracking to ensure projects run efficiently and stay on schedule. Industra is a rapidly growing, multi-disciplined, self-perform General Contractor delivering projects across sectors including water and wastewater treatment, industrial process facilities, civil infrastructure, institutional construction, and remote northern projects. While this role is based in our Surrey office, some projects are located outside the Lower Mainland, including Yellowknife, and periodic travel to site may be required on a rotational basis. We are looking for team members who are flexible and willing to support projects where needed. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Planning Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning and execution of construction projects. Assist in developing project schedules and track progress against key milestones. Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Document Control & Contract Administration Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders, purchase orders, and meeting minutes. Manage document control systems to ensure accurate and timely distribution of project information. Assist with contract administration and tracking of project deliverables. Procurement & Subcontractor Coordination Assist with material take-offs, pricing requests, and procurement of project materials. Issue requests for proposals to subcontractors and track quotations. Coordinate subcontractor agreements and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Cost Control & Reporting Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting. Support monthly project reporting and progress billing documentation. Help monitor project performance including schedule, costs, materials, manpower, safety, and quality. Site & Project Support Provide coordination support to project teams as required, including occasional site visits. Travel to out-of-town project locations may be required periodically depending on project needs. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and follows through. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Qualifications 36 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry. Experience supporting civil, industrial, infrastructure, or structural construction projects preferred. Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field considered an asset. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software. Ability and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
