About the Role We are expanding our service presence in Canada and are seeking a locally based Service Technician to support customers throughout the Alberta market. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, and responsive service support for car wash systems. This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working independently, takes pride in solving problems in the field, and values building strong relationships with customers. You will play an important role in helping customers keep their equipment operating safely and reliably. What Youll Do Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of car wash equipment and related systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in the field Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance Diagnose system issues and replace or repair components such as motors, sensors, valves, pumps, and control devices Respond to service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards Communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings, recommendations, and repair timelines Assist with startup and testing of newly installed equipment when needed Coordinate with internal service and technical support teams when additional troubleshooting assistance is required Complete service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, and work orders accurately and on time Ensure parts used on service calls are properly documented and communicated for restocking Maintain service vehicle inventory, tools, and cleanliness Follow all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures and site-specific requirements Required Skills & Qualifications 25 years of hands-on service or maintenance experience (car wash equipment, industrial equipment, automation, or similar) Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot independently Working knowledge of electrical systems (24V / 120V / 240V), motors, sensors, relays, and control components Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Comfortable working outdoors, in wet environments, and lifting up to 75 lbs Ability to travel locally within Alberta as needed Who We Are At AUTEC Car Wash Systems, PHYZIX Chemistry, and Peak Wash Solutions , we deliver the full car wash experience equipment, chemistry, and service powered by three brands that work together every day.
