About the Project The objective is to implement Warehouse Management in the clients Oracle IFMMS system in order to replace the existing two legacy systems and to have an integrated solution that will be supported from a functional and technical perspective. About the Responsibilities Prepare the relevant project documentation, including migrations, onboarding, and related tasks. This involves presenting options, developing application architectural strategies, planning and estimating the work required for implementing Warehouse Management and enhancements, Inventory Management and Order Management; Support the various phases of the implementation of Warehouse Management and enhancements to Inventory Management and Order Management for Oracle EBS (migrations and onboarding). Collect and analyze technical information regarding projects (migrations, onboarding and related tasks. Assist in the development of resource plans, including the identification of the skill sets or expertise required to execute work packages. Provide detailed advice and guidance regarding the implementation of Warehouse Management and enhancements to Inventory Management and Order Management (migrations, onboarding and related tasks). Propose options and strategies with respect to technical environments. Provide technical expertise to members of technical and functional teams, regarding the implementation of Warehouse Management and enhancements to Inventory Management and Order Management (migrations and onboarding. Participate in weekly status meetings of the technical team. Attend weekly status meeting of the functional team. Provide related briefings and status reports to management. Assist the technical team in performing upgrade processes. Provide expert level knowledge and experience working with WebLogic 12c, OEM Grid Control 13.x, R12.2 and 19c database to develop, deliver and implement WM, IM, OM and MSCA. Perform database performance tuning, perform sizing and capacity planning, perform database backup and recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN), performance tuning of e-Business Suite R12.2/19c. Create Service Requests with Oracle (where applicable). Provide necessary diagnostic outputs as and when needed by Oracle support. Resolve patching issues using Oracle Patch (opatch) and Oracle e-Business Application online patching (adop). Conduct import/export and transportable tablespaces and resolve any issues. Evaluate the impact of patches on existing custom objects (Interfaces, triggers, personalizations, etc.). Coordinate information gathering with external service providers (Oracle (vendor), Oracle Cluster Group, SSC, Transport Canada) to obtain remedial maintenance patches. Work with the technical and functional teams to prepare for the project implementation into production/go-live, respecting clients established change management process. Establish test environments and support testing by responding to clients queries. Provide expertise and assistance for the project implementation of the various Oracle R12.2 Supply Chain Modules. These consist of: Warehouse Management; Supply Chain Management; Bill of Materials; Order Management; Inventory, and; Manufacturing. Create and update all necessary technical documents. About the Qualifications 10 years of experience as an Application/Software Architect - Level 3. Graduation from a two-year program of study from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in computer science, information technology, information management or another relevant specialty. 8 years of cumulative technical experience, Developing, Delivering, and Supporting an organizations Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application as a Database Administrator in Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Application (including 3 years of experience in a decentralized organization with a minimum of 1,000 users). Experience on at least three (3) projects on an Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Application where the outcome is the implementation of new modules or enhanced functionality. Pay Disclosure The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows: Junior: 05 years of experience - $40-75/hr Intermediate: 69 years of experience - $60-100/hr Senior: 10+ years of experience - $90-150/hr Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
