Job Description

As the Human Resources Assistant (4 Month Contract) and as a part of the Insurance Growth Network (IGN), you will work closely with the HR Administrator to support in administrating the Human Resources functions of the brokerage, across all branches. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.With your excellent oral and written communications, you act as an important representative of the company and its core values; welcoming new employees with respect, fostering long-term relationships and working collaboratively among the leadership team and all employees.PROACTIVE ACTIONS You form trusting relationships with a positive attitude among your colleaguesMaintain and safeguard employee confidentiality as required within this roleUphold a high standard of business acumen and maturityRely on your critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills so that you can quickly to address issues and prevent any problems from affecting the companyMove projects along with a sense of urgency, following all lead indicatorsUse the established processes and systems as providedRESPONSIBILITIESSupport IGNs People Care process including; Annual Values Reviews, Career Pathing, Compensation Reviews, Annual Team Trip, and Employee Development Plans, as applicable within the employment termSupport the Recruiting objectives by sourcing & connecting with prospective employees using digital platforms, scheduling interviews and communicating feedbackSupport Human Resource functions for employees including; Onboarding, Employee Changes & OffboardingManage and maintain all personnel documents using the HUMI, Asana, and OneDrive platformsTrack employee changes and events using the HUMI, Asana, and OneDrive platformsTrack and report on all continuing education costs by employee and branchMaintain accurate and confidential HR recordsTrack all employee changes and events in the HUMI platformAdministrate group benefits for eligible employeesAssist in planning company eventsTEAM SUPPORTAttend department L10s weeklyBe familiar with and follow company policies and procedures as established (Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures, etc.)Attend and participate staff meetings and other company functions, including after hours as requiredDemonstrate professional qualities with a positive attitudeOther related duties as requiredKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS2+ years experience working in a team environmentBachelors degree program in human resources, Business Administration, or related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, humilityProficient Microsoft Office SuiteThis job operates in a professional office environment.
