Chinooks Edge School Division invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Principal at cole Steffie Woima Elementary School (PreK6) in Sylvan Lake, effective the first day of the 20262027 school year. Responsibilities Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and shared responsibility for all aspects of administration. Qualifications The successful candidate will be a strong instructional leader with excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in classroom teaching, demonstrated abilities to work with a wide range of community agencies, a strong background in literacy, numeracy, inclusive education, and supporting students with complex needs. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as a schoolbased administrator, and those who have completed or are working toward a Masters degree in Education. The successful applicant will possess a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate, and be required to provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
